Scripture tells us "Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others" (Philippians 2:4). Here are some ways we are trying to help both our church family and the local community.

Love Thy Neighbour

We provide emergency food parcels for people who are in need, both in the local Cattedown area and for the more vulnerable members of our congregation. We are also taking referrals from the local primary school and our own nursery.

Soup Run

We work alongside the city-wide Soup Run, which offers free food to the homeless and vulnerable every day. We organise the Friday night drop off around the city. We are always looking for volunteers to help with this so please get in touch if you would like to help.

Pastoral Care

We want to make sure that everyone who is a part of our church feels supported and helped. Our Community Groups care for one another in this way and we also have a great Pastoral Care Team who make phone calls, visit people and offer help wherever they can.

Compassion

As a church we partner with another church in Uganda, through the charity Compassion. Many members of our church also sponsor individual children from Uganda (and other places).

Acts 435

We offer practical support through partnering with the charity ACTS 435 – an online giving charity, directly connecting those who want to give with those who are in genuine need of their help, through a network of local churches and charities.

PASTORAL CARE

We live in unusual times, and we understand that today more than ever, we need to transit life along with each other. So if you would like help or support in any way or would just like a friendly chat with someone, please contact us, and someone from our pastoral team will be in touch. We would love to hear from you.

Should you have any other question? Please let us know, we’d be happy to help.
